Hi Any idea why '-C' is hard coded for bsd.lib.mk and bsd.own.mk? I thought that the make.conf variable was there to allow or disallow this. The following comes from bsd.lib.mk:
.if defined(LIB) && !empty(LIB) && !defined(NOINSTALLLIB) ${INSTALL} -C -o ${LIBOWN} -g ${LIBGRP} -m ${LIBMODE} \ ${_INSTALLFLAGS} lib${LIB}.a ${DESTDIR}${LIBDIR} .endif .if !defined(NOPROFILE) && defined(LIB) && !empty(LIB) ${INSTALL} -C -o ${LIBOWN} -g ${LIBGRP} -m ${LIBMODE} \ ${_INSTALLFLAGS} lib${LIB}_p.a ${DESTDIR}${LIBDIR} .endif Ian _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-current To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
