Yes, but the kernel config worked before I cvsuped. So I thought it must be something else.
However in this case the problem has been widely reported, and the solution is to define WERROR= (i.e. to the null string) to make compiler warnings non-fatal.
OK - I think I even hit one of your postings regarding this issue, but I admit I couldn't make sense of it.
(I was reading it like one had to have WERROR enabled, which I had...)
It works now again, thanks a lot.
