Attached is the patch. It basically makes CRUNCH_PROGS into a per directory item and then only does a make obj on the per program directory.

Don't bother. I was just whining. ;-)
Realistically, the parallel build problem is the highest priority right now for /rescue. Your patch works. Let's commit it and move on.
