This has actually been happening to me a fair amount too since before
5.0-RELEASE and still on -CURRENT:
FreeBSD laptop.internal.irrelevant.org 5.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT
#0: Sat Mar 22 12:23:42 GMT 2003    
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/LAPTOP  i386
