Yeah, thanks for the reply. I think what actually happened was that I cvsup'd halfway between the update and missed some of the src/etc/mail updates. This morning I cvsup'd again and ran mergemaster for a second time and the freebsd.cf and sendmail.cf both contain DZ8.12.8 now. Thankyou for confirming what the two version numbers were for though. I never knew this and when I saw the differences in versions it made me wonder.
