This may already be fixed..can you try updating and see if the problem persists?
Yes. I've also had problems with my laptop freezing when using gtk-gnutella. After the fixes (I'm now at version 1.198 of tcp_input.c), my laptop takes a lot longer to panic while running gnutella, but it still happens nonetheless. Here is a little backtrace:
