No dice. I'm still getting the FPE on fsck_ufs. I'm kind of puzzled here. One possible clue - I forgot to unset the acpi_load, booted single user, and got the same hang when mounting root. The difference was that I didn't see fsck_ufs exit, the machine just sat there. The system isn't locked up in either case. I can hit ctrl-alt-delete and the system will reboot properly... -- ========================================================== = Bryan D.
