Do we think that devfs rules *should* apply to symlinks? I couldn't quite make it work when I tried before, but I didn't try very hard, so it's probably doable if it's desirable. Is it desirable, though? As phk points out, symlink permissions aren't used, so is there a reason besides aesthetics that one would want to change them? Likewise for ownership.
