Alternatively, for those who'd like to use stock issue cdr tools (or any other tool that manipulates CAM devices) there also is a new release of the ATAPI/CAM patches at http://www.cuivre.fr.eu.org/~thomas/atapicam/ that resolves the 'hang at boot' issue reported by several testers with Toshiba units. Users of ATAPI tapes and floppy drives are also welcome to test the patches.
