What would be helpful is if you supplied at least the panic message, and a backtrace when the panic occues. Or if this is a spontaneous reboot (which I really doubt), the dmesg from a verbose boot up to the point of reboot would be a first step... Also, /etc/pccard.conf is not used with newcard.
