, I had to rsync, but after that, for some hosts pulling
ports or /usr/src worked again.
Hunh, interesting. I did not have any other tree to "rsync"
from, nor would have the thought occurred to me.
After few days the issue was gone by itself (or, have not seen
since).
Conneting to my Email provider via claws-mail results in logon
failures, opening websites
via librewolf/firefox (youtube, i.e.) results in a stuck connection - I
have to open the
site repeatedly to open it by chance.
Ok, I did not have any issue connecting to elsewhere.
