One thing of possible note:
Failing . . .
Host OSVERSION: 1500006
Jail OSVERSION: 1500014
and, more recently,
Host OSVERSION: 1500006
Jail OSVERSION: 1500015
But the most recent working had . . .
Host OSVERSION: 1500006
Jail OSVERSION: 1500014
So, if it is a FreeBSD problem, it seems to have started during 1500014 .
