Thank you.
I already read this thread while researching.
Doesn't help me, because not a single "Digital" output/device appears in my FreeBSD 13.0-CURRENT System:
pcm0: <EMU10Kx DSP front PCM interface> on emu10kx0
pcm0: <SigmaTel STAC9750/51 AC97 Codec>
pcm1: <EMU10Kx DSP rear PCM interface> on emu10kx0
pcm2: <EMU10Kx DSP center PCM interface> on emu10kx0
pcm3: <EMU10Kx DSP subwoofer PCM interface> on emu10kx0
These 4 or 5 are just analog outputs/devices.
Maybe the digital (S/PDIF, Toslink) issn't recognized by the system?!
But I don't know how to "make" it recognized by FreeBSD.
With Devuan (ALSA) and Win10 (Creative Driver) everything is working fine there. I also tried OSS, ALSA and PulseAudio with FreeBSD, but no chance to make it work.
