There are few issues. with vmware, you should rather grow existing boot disk - just to keep setup simple. If you are adding disks, make sure they are properly partitioned.
int13 error code 4 should be ’sector not found’, I have no idea why are you getting this one, but clearly there is something wrong. I would fix this by adding new properly sized disk, boot from iso/usb and create new zroot pool and copy data over from old and move old one away. once you have verified boot from new zroot, you can clean up. rgds, toomas > On 22.
