What are values of sysctl kern.openfiles and kern.maxfiles ?
Have a look with fstat for this problem of file descriptors.
Hi,
After reboot, cause my system was locked
kern.openfiles = 42 and kern.maxfiles = 15258.
Now I move with my pending work on 10, but I
think I can reproduce the behavior later, and
post the live values.
