Based on sys/i386/conf/files.i386:
1/20/99 to 2/10/99
Based on sys/conf/files:
1/17/99 to 1/21/99
So I'd say it was somewhere between 1/20/99 and 1/21/99. Is that
close enough for you to "exact"? The branching proccess takes a
while, so I think this is as close as you may get.
