:The rc.local script is called from rc as "$conf_dir/rc.local".
:However, the new rc.conf does not set the "conf_dir" variable
:anymore, therefore rc.local is not executed.

    -current's /usr/src/etc/rc no longer use $conf_dir.  It looks
    like -stable's does, though... I've fixed it.  I don't 
    understand how it got there, I only comitted the $conf_dir stuff
    to -current!
