It appears that revision 1.9 of lib/libpam/modules/pam_kerberosIV/klogin.c and revision 1.3 of lib/libpam/modules/pam_kerberosIV/pam_kerberosIV.c broke ftpd when compiling with MAKE_KERBEROS defined. The errors I get when compiling with 4.0-current sources (and presumably 3.0-stable though I haven't tried compiling that yet) cvsup'd last night at about 11:00 pm CST are:
