We are partial to the TekRAM 390-F symbios 53C875 based controller.

IBM Hard drives...
And if you get the ASUS P3B board don't let it run in jumper free
mode, nail the settings down with the jumpers as we have seen one
too many times that this board likes to _think_ the CPU has changed
and fails during a remote reboot.
