No, there isn't.

The version you want is 0.7. That's the version on FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE
onwards. Source for -stable dates May 7, 1999. Source code for -current
dates March 17, 1999.

Frankly, we want to ditch the whole sysinstall and replace it with
something else, better and more modular.

As for newfs'ing, there is a little letter besides the partitions which
is either Y or N. When it's Y, it will newfs the partition. With the
press of a key you can change it to N.

As for crashing... no traces, no messages, nothing we can do. :-)
