Bug ID: 299002
Summary: New Chelsio drivers (chvf) conflict with PCEngines
APU2 EHCI device
Product: Base System
Version: 16.0-CURRENT
Hardware: amd64
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Many People
Priority: ---
Component: kern
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
The Chelsio drivers added in 16.0-CURRENT seem to load without checking the
vendor ID, causing ugen1.1: <EHCI root HUB AMD> to not load and try loading the
Chelsio drivers instead.
Notice that the PCI device ID is the same for the EHCI device and one of the
Chelsio cards.

Several users of these devices with pfSense 2.9.0 based on 16.0-CURRENT have
ran into this bug.
