Bug ID: 286010 Summary: [FBSD 15.0 current]fatal error: 'ssp/ssp.h' file not found Product: Base System Version: 15.0-CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: b...@freebsd.org Reporter: hareshx.sankar....@intel.com When building kernel module that includes sys/types.h, below error is seen. /usr/src/sys/sys/select.h:66:10: fatal error: 'ssp/ssp.h' file not found 66 | #include <ssp/ssp.h> | ^~~~~~~~~~~ "sys/types.h" includes "sys/select.h" which internally includes "ssp/ssp.h" This ssp/ssp.h is located in /usr/include directory which also has all the other userspace header files. Since "select.h" can be used by both kernel and user space modules, do we need to wrap "#include <ssp/ssp.h>" under ifndef KERNEL?
