For other people stumbling upon that issue, I had to revert all the way back to
firmware A03 (version 2.5.13.3011) for both M.2 SSDs to be detected. A04 did
show one disk, but not both.
Looking forward to seeing the workaround committed, so we can flash back to
A07? Thanks a bunch in advance to those involved!
