Bug ID: 266656 Summary: crash system with thunderbird Product: Base System Version: 13.1-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: b...@freebsd.org Reporter: gspu...@gmail.com Somewhere on the "net" i read that those sysctl's are "good" for Desktop usage. # cat /etc/stsctl.con kern.sched.preempt_thresh=224 kern.sched.slice=3 kern.ipc.shm_allow_removed=1 kern.ipc.shm_use_phys=1 When i start Thunderbird (as a normal user) repeatedly after about ~3 times the System makes a full Crash to UEFI, also startup of Thunderbird is really slow. However when i just have "kern.sched.preempt_thresh=224" enabled i had no crash until know, and Thunderbird is starting fast again. Do i trigger a kernel-bug? It is a production machine, so i have some problems making crash-dumps. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
