The errors popped up when I upgraded to 12.2 and stopped by adding vfs.zfs.cache_flush_disable=1 in /boot/loader.conf. The error returned when I just updated to 13.1. I replaced the 5 drives and I have a stable system again. If I have a chance I will test the drives on another system just to see if it is a compatibility issue with the SATA controller. I agree with Warner Losh since the system feels more responsive after replacing the drives and removing vfs.zfs.cache_flush_disable=1 in /boot/loader.conf. This is a hardware issue.
