Bug ID: 256137 Summary: service(8) "service -R" restarts local daemons in wrong order. Product: Base System Version: 13.0-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: b...@freebsd.org Reporter: hata...@infolab.ne.jp Created attachment 225239 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=225239&action=edit Bugfix for service(8) with -R option. Many startup scripts depend on dummy dependencies, such as NETWORKING, SERVERS, and so on. These files are in /etc/rc.d, but "service -R" doesn't see /etc/rc.d/[A-Z]* at all. This results in wrong order of restarting. (e.g. named after fahclient) Attached patch may fix this issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
