MB: ASUS P10S-E/4L (Intel® C236), 32G RAM ECC.
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1230 v5
Disks SATA, WD RE 2TB.
ZFS, RAID Z2, 8 disks.
On the topic of the FreeNAS forum, I raised the issue of using an HDD in a ZFS
pool using the Intel Sunrise Point AHCI Controller (Intel C236). If I start
using the iscsi service (ctld - CAM Target Layer / iSCSI target daemon) then I
can get chaotic mistakes from different disks.
Have errors with:

Restarting the server does not resolve the issue with "CAM status: ATA Status
Error." Just turning off the server and turning the power on solves the
problem.
When I start use external SAS controller "LSI 3008 in IT mode", now no any
errors with disk.
If start use again AHCI controller Intel Sunrise Point , CAM errors back.

Vendor support say that FreeBSD not in "ASUSTek Server Platform Supported OS
List" -
