I have a pair of 82598 based intel NICs I can setup on a test bench if that
would be helpful.
Can confirm that I am also experiencing this issue on a FreeNAS 11.1
installation, and it occurs as soon as the interface is brought 'up'.
Using DAC cables, happens when not connected at remote end.
