It's a bit difficult to follow as it appears there are several different issues
reported here, and specifically, one of the forum links is for FreeBSD 9 and
one is marked as solved.
Can you please add additional detail beyond "unable to boot."
- does the loader run correctly?
- does the kernel panic? hang? is there any output at all?
- if you perform a verbose boot from the loader, do you get any more
information?
