After further investigation it is clear that the problem has nothing to do with
the keyword "compat".
The keyword "winbind" is the root of the problem.
Once this keyword is included the jail doesn't start. It doesn't matter where
or which order. Once "winbind" is there no startup.
If the jail had been started and the nsswitch.conf file was changed afterwards
to include "winbind" the jail works. The winbind service works too as it is
able to list the domain users via wbinfo -u and with getent passwd.
