That should not be necessary.

There are more CAYMAN firmware modules.  Maybe you need to load all of them:

radeonkms_load="YES"
radeonkmsfw_CAYMAN_mc_load="YES"
radeonkmsfw_CAYMAN_me_load="YES"
radeonkmsfw_CAYMAN_pfp_load="YES"
radeonkmsfw_CAYMAN_rlc_load="YES"
