To assume that "you" must be male and describe this as "sexist" is

Not to string characters from a tree here though, but she is right. Common
misconception would read out exactly as it was stated first glance even
though it was never meant that way in the first place.
If I had a way to reword that without going with (his/her) or (partner)
trying not to imply how a reader would use it I would make the suggestion
stemming from Leta's original like so:

Create an encrypted provider, but use two keys: one for shared or backup
purposes, and one for common personal use (so there will be no tragedy if
one of the keys or passphrases are lost or stolen):
}}}
It would be great if someone would apply a fix-up or a amended version of
this of what they feel would be the responsible thing to do since its just
a quick little type up and really doesn't need to be MFC'd
