Not possible. FreeBSD will not boot.

FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE will not run on Virtual PC on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
It generates a kernel panic during boot.

Installation goes fine. Reboot.

I've tried safe boot, single user boot, ACPI disabled, and it makes no
difference. It can't run when booting from a virtual hard drive.
