>From what I can gather from the documents, it should be possible. Once the machine was loaded up with FreeBSD 6.3 (From a backup), and running in the normal way. it connects fine. In this case, the NFS server is running FreeBSD 5.2.1 and has several other machines connecting to it fine. >How-To-Repeat: Create a NFS mount on a machine, and configure, Boot a client machine up with FreeBSD 8 Live FS and go to fixit console, Assign the client an ip address with ifconfig, try mounting the nfs volume on the client. The error I got was: RPCPROG_NFS: RPC: Program not registered >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: _______________________________________________ freebsd-bugs@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-bugs To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-bugs-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
