 It seems that You forgot to attach the patch.
 In any case the only entry for slip in /etc is in login.conf and it's 
commented out.
 Btw, if You want to remove traces of slip then also remove them from
 sys/boot/forth/loader.conf
 tools/tools/tinybsd/conf/default/TINYBSD
 tools/tools/tinybsd/conf/vpn/TINYBSD
