The assumption being that you actually have enough disk space. Again, if you need assistance resolving an upgrade issue, it's best that you ask for help on questions@ (for general questions related to FreeBSD, including upgrades, et all), stable@ (if you're running STABLE), or current@ (if you're running CURRENT) instead of filing a bug ;)...
