Bug ID: 211801 Summary: FreeBSD 12.0-CURRENT on Dell Inspiron 7352 and Sandisk X400 512GB: Reboots don't go to UEFI Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: freebsd-b...@freebsd.org Reporter: n...@neelc.org CC: freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org CC: freebsd-amd64@FreeBSD.org When I use FreeBSD 12.0-CURRENT on my Dell Inspiron 7352 with an aftermarket Sandisk X400 512GB SSD, and reboot the system, the screen and keyboard backlight turns on, but the BIOS does not show the Dell logo, nor does it boot into any operating system. This issue only happens on FreeBSD, and not on Windows or Linux. I had this issue with both UEFI and Legacy modes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ freebsd-amd64@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-amd64 To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-amd64-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
