--- Comment #1 from gravi...@gmx.de --- When booting with grub and linux i use the grub setting "GRUB_TERMINAL=console". At the grub console by pressing "c" and typing "videoinfo" there is an empty list. The guess is, that there is no gop video mode available. Furthermore: if once queried the modes via 'videoinfo' at grub, the following boot and reboots are in 'blind mode' as grub says. First Video output comes when the nvidia xorg driver loads. To get linux kernel boot messages back, the notebook has to be shutdown and started again.
