If there were a LinkedIn Group for FreeBSD, I'd join it. Groups
are a new thing on LinkedIn and they seem to be quite viral and
good for marketing to professionals. I see many FreeBSD committers

created the group myself, but I'm probably not a good maintainer
for it. Not that it requires much work. Somebody in Advocacy or
Marketing should probably look into creating a FreeBSD group. Just
a tip.
Good idea Bob. I think you just volunteered. Thank you.
Hello Dan,
I read your conversation with Bob and I decided to take action. I
received the following message from LinkedIn. The request for a new
FreeBSD group for LinkedIn is currently being reviewed. Within
approximately 2 working days it will be activated if everything goes
well. FreeBSD could not be used as a group name so I took the liberty
to give a new name.
