Actually, news to me, the free DSB web site implies the OS is a graphical user interface. The issue goes further than just installing the OS but, rather the every day use of the OS, to what I understand the interface is in-fact graphical? Hope this clarifies my position?
The OS supports a graphical user interface (called X11), but does not by any stretch require it (it won't even install X11 unless you ask it to)
