I don't know upowerd. Looks like an Embedded Controller timeout issue. # sysctl -d debug.acpi.ec shows the controls related to EC polling behaviour you can adjust. # sysctl debug.acpi.ec.timeout=1000 increases the timeout from the default 750ms (here) to 1s for example. It may just need to be somewhat more than the default value, sometimes. cheers, Ian
