Hi Laurent,
Hi Vasily,

I still need to merge some changes for vfs5011, since it regressed for
some older devices, and some random fixes to other drivers.
I think I'll get some time before Christmas to merge and test all the
changes and make a release.

Thanks for the answer.

I was asking because the freeze for the next debian release is arriving "soon"[0] and I was hopping this see the latest fixes included in the next release.

I'll see if I can (or see with the debian maintainer to) backport the patches to fix the issues with my reader.

Hi,

Do you think it could be possible to roll a new release of libfprint (and
maybe fprintd)?

On my Lenovo T550 (using vfs5011), fp_dev_get_nr_enroll_stages() is
returning 1 and this doesn't seems to be enough to have a proper image for
the fingerprint. This is causing the scan to not-match quite often. With git
HEAD fp_dev_get_nr_enroll_stages() returns 5 and the verifications are
working way better.

Could you please release a new version?
