Regarding the init_reqs, I only changed end row and end column:
{ 0x94, 0x05 }, /* set end row to 5: aes4000 */
{ 0x94, 0x07 }, /* set end row: aes3500 */
{ 0x96, 0x18 }, /* set end column to 24*4=96: aes4000 */
{ 0x96, 0x1f }, /* set end column: aes3500 */
I don't have much success on modifying other params. Let me know if you
have.
