Hi,

Thank you very much for working on the 147e:2020 support. It seems to almost work on my Lenovo T430. I start pam_fprint_enroll with libfprint patched with your patch. The LED of the reader turns on. After swiping the finger 5 times according to the instructions, the LED turns off however, It says "Scan your finger now" again (I presume this is for confirmation?) and then it fails with error -22.

I will be able to do more extensive tests next saturday, until then I will be busy unfortunately.

With kind regards.

Seems standard enough.

3. Modify libfprint driver to work with your device (add another
variant for upeksonly?)
Why do you say that the 2020 is for upeksonly? What differentiates the
various upek drivers?
Maybe it can be handled via upeke2. I just hope that it's simple
imaging device without on-board biometric
co-processor.
Hi,

I've just tested 147e:2020 integrated in x230 laptop with upeke2
driver and it works,
try attached patch to see if it works for you.

Regards
Vasily
