IMHO, after check, it seems that msegui uses the types provided by the TypInfo unit. In each "uses" section of a msegui unit was added "typinfo". So maybe it should be something there that was changed. But if so I do not understand why your commit 42375 breaks compatibility because you did not change anything in typinfo.
