We might have not aware of that at the time (who really used Delphi.NET?), but
we were definitely not the first.
We didn't release it first, but Sven is right that we already had our
own syntax long before Delphi with generics was released. The first
commit for FPC generics support was on 21 December 2005 (r2020).
