Unlike MSEgui, fpGUI is much closer in widget design and usage to VCL and LCL. Myself and others have quite easily ported some VCL components to fpGUI with fairly little effort. Obviously the time it takes is dependent on how large that widget codebase is. As for torry.net - last time I checked it was predominantly Delphi VCL components. So if you are using FPC and Lazarus LCL, you are still going to need some porting work.
