The Linuxolator is a freebsd specific term for the linux binary emulation on freebsd. AFAIK it is done by implementing a small layer between the linux libraries and programs and the freebsd kernel. This small layer does nothing more than forming a linux kernel api and translating linux kernel calls to the freebsd equivalent. See there for more details and in depth explanations: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/articles/linux-emulation/article.html HTH, Marc _______________________________________________ fpc-pascal maillist - fpc-pascal@lists.freepascal.org http://lists.freepascal.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fpc-pascal
