Graeme, what's the situation with Solaris on i386 and x64?
I don't know. I still have both an OpenIndiana and OpenSolaris servers
running here. They were set up years ago and still ticking over happily.
Both are 32-bit as they were installed on old hardware at the time. I
simply wanted to update FPC on both those system.
I hope to find time to take a look at both 32- and 64-bit variants of
OpenSXCE over the next few days, the 32-bit version might only be on Qemu.
I'm using OpenSXCE because it has a fairly up-to-date SPARC variant,
which I don't believe is the case for Illumos. OpenSXCE appears to lean
towards GNU utilities- I don't know whether that's its own quirk or
whether it inherits that from Illumos, and I don't know whether that has
any bearing on the FPC installation script which doesn't like- in
particular- the Sun/Solaris/SunOS tar.
