[fpc-pascal] fppoll/epoll examples/documentation

This may seem crazy, but I cannot find any documentation or examples on 
fppoll( ) and the events member of TFdPoll structure.

ALso, there is a epoll demo at forum.lazarus.*freepascal*.org
But I cannot ever reach that site from USA.
Anybody know about more documentation on fppoll( ) or epoll( )?
